The ABSee Reading Program is a literacy program aimed at children with learning disabilities and "at-risk" readers. The ABSee Reading Program is designed to prevent "at-risk" readers from "falling through the cracks", and to introduce coping strategies to children that have learning disabilities. The ABSee Reading Program provides:
The ABSee Reading Program teachers are all qualified with their Bachelor of Education degrees specializing in the areas of Reading, Special Education, or Language Arts. Our teachers are dedicated to strengthening each child's self-esteem and academic performance.
At the Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan we know how difficult it can be to pay for high-cost educational supports. That is why we have implemented our own nonprofit reading and writing clinic. The ABSee Reading Program is offered, for a fraction of the cost of other programs.
Each ABSee Reading Session costs $25.00 for one hour of individualized intervention. There is the option to work BINGOS in lieu of paying a fee.
Please contact LDAS if you wish to obtain more information about the ABSee Program. Our mandate is to empower learning disabled students and their families.
