Employability Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

Employability Assistance for Persons with Disabilities (EAPD) is a provincially funded program which addresses the specific financial needs of individuals with permanent disabilities. EAPD will assist participants to offset the costs of specific disability related expenses. Such expenses might include:
  • a complete learning disability assessment
  • a tutor and/or scribe for post-secondary school
  • tuition to a basic upgrading program
  • any financial need not met by Saskatchewan Student Loans
EAPD will not assist with:
  • tuition and/or books required for a post-secondary certificate or degree program
  • child care expenses
  • basic living expenses (e.g. rent, food, transportation)
  • expenses not deemed disability related
Criteria: To qualify, a participant must be:
  • 18 or older
  • have or suspected of having a permanent disability
  • have a Saskatchewan Health number and Canadian Social Insurance number
  • be a permanent resident of Saskatchewan (non-residents can apply through the LDA offices in their home provinces)
Further information can be obtained through all three of our offices.
