The Arrowsmith program is a cognitive program for students that provide alternate programming strategies for learning diabilities within a learning program.
Students entering the Arrowsmith Program have been experiencing a range of problems including: reading, mathematics, comprehension, logical reasoning, visual memory, auditory memory, working memory, Dyslexia, Non-verbal learning, processing speed.
The Arrowsmith Program is based on twenty-five years of neuroscientific research demonstrating that it is possible to treat learning disabilities by identifying and strengthening weak cognitve capacities.
The goal of the Arrowsmith Program is to help students strengthen the weak cognitive capacities underlying their learning dysfunctions dealing with the root causes of the learning disability rather than managing its symptoms.
To register please contact Heather at LDAS at 652-4114 ext 4 or at reception@ldas.org
Snacks & refreshments will be served!
