Screening for Success
609 - 25th Street E Saskatoon
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Many professionals work with adults who, despite their best efforts, continue to struggle academically as well as in other areas of their lives. The frustration expressed by the adult is shared by the professional who would like to direct them to the most appropriate learning experience, but does not have the information necessary to do so. This frustration is often resolved when the student's areas of need and strengths are identified, and appropriate learning strategies are applied.
Screening for Success is designed to provide participants with the expertise and tools necessary to screen adults at risk for learning disabilities. This daylong institute provides trainers hands-on experience and is complemented by access to the actual screening tool as well as information on Learning Disabilities. The screening tool presented in this training seeks to identify strengths and areas of need for persons at risk for learning disabilities. This identification allows for a positive learning experience for the adult at risk for learning disabilities.
